LCol. Gilbank Trophy

LCol Gilbank Trophy – Top LAC

The Colonel Gilbank trophy is presented in honour of Lieutenant Colonel R. E. (Ted) Gilbank, who was a cadet with 151 Squadron before becoming an officer and later the commanding officer. Colonel Gilbank served as the Squadron’s commanding officer from 1959 until 1982, when he was appointed the Area Colonel – a post he relinquished to Colonel Beaton.

This trophy is awarded annually to the Leading Air Cadet who is shown to be most proficient.
This determination is made by the Squadron’s NCOs and WOs.
