are next Sunday evening

Rotary Luncheon
It has been a long standing tradition that once a year the Rotary Club invites a cadet from the Squadron to become the guest speaker at the club’s noon hour luncheon. This year one of our cadets F/Sgt Lloyd was invited to be this year’s speaker. He described not only his own experiences as a cadet but he also briefed the club on some of the Squadron’s many activities. He is pictured here with other cadets and staff who also attended the luncheon.
Model Building Contest
It’s coming Monday April 7!!
Our annual plastic model building contest is now about 3 weeks away. So if your model is still in the box or you have been neglecting to work on it, now is the time to get busy and get it completed and ready for the competition. To help encourage our model builders we have two impressive 48 scale model prizes. The famous Mosquito is for the top junior cadet and the B25 Mitchell is for the top Senior cadet.

Aviation Photo Of the Week
The AirCam
The AirCam is a twin-engine ultralight designed for use by National Geographic to explore Africa . It can fly 10 feet above the tree tops in safety as it can, with no engine management challenge, climb up and away on one engine. AirCams can take off on one engine, easily, and with both Rotax 912’s turning, they can leap off terra firma in less than 100 feet and climb 2,000 feet per minute all while burning only 10 gph. Check out the video and experience some real grass roots flying.
