Year End Cadet Trip – Wright Paterson AFB Dayton Ohio
Perhaps not all of our cadets realize that the squadron at the end of the training year conducts a special year end trip for our cadets. The squadron has been Ottawa, Montreal, Sudbury, North Bay, Quebec City, in Canada as well as numerous cities in the United States. This year the Squadron has chosen to go to Dayton Ohio the home of the National Museum of the US Air Force. The museum is located at the Wright-Patterson Air Force Base near Dayton, Ohio, and it is the world’s largest military aviation museum. The museum features more than 360 aerospace vehicles and missiles and thousands of artifacts amid more than 19 acres of indoor exhibit space. Each year about one million visitors from around the world come to the museum. If cadets and parents would like to have a look at the museum site just click on www.nationalmuseum.af.mil.
Cadets and parents need to know that cadets are selected for a trip such as this on the basis of their achievement record as well as their attendance, dress, appearance and conduct.
