Greetings everyone,
We have a couple of important messages that require your attention!
1) This Monday, December 2nd is the last opportunity for cadets to purchase tickets for the Tri-Service Christmas Dance to be held this coming Friday, December 6th at LVIV Hall. This an all-out effort by our Squadron to provide an excellent meal as well as a social environment for Sea, Army and Air Cadets from the surrounding area. This is a formal event that is well supervised and designed for the enjoyment of the cadets. We certainly hope to see all the cadets from 151 Chadburn Squadron in attendance. Tickets are $25.00 and can be purchased from Capt Bliss or Lt Di Loreto.
2) The Poinsettia order has arrived and can be picked up at the Cadet Hall this Monday evening, December 2. Please arrange to pick up your orders between 1500hrs (3:00PM) and 2130hrs (9:30PM). Please do not return to the Cadet Hall after the final parade at 2200hrs to pick up your order. We have had occasions in the past when orders were never picked up. This reflects very poorly on our Squadron and not fair to the customers who ordered.
3) A gentle reminder to all cadets and parents that care and pride in the wearing and upkeep of the uniform is essential to our integrity and esprit du corps. Boots that lack shining, badges misplaced, uniforms wrinkled, unkempt or long hair are all simply unacceptable and do not meet the standard. We choose to never lower the net to make it easier. We choose to expect self-discipline and instill pride amongst our cadets.
Thank you
Major Weigel
Commanding Officer
