Dear Friends & Supporters of 151 Chadburn Squadron:
The holiday season is quickly approaching and it always seems to provide an opportunity to reflect on the successes and accomplishments of the past year. I appreciate your continued patience and support throughout 2021 as we embarked on our second training year under COVID-19 restrictions.
Thankfully, we were able to conduct some limited in-person activities. We were able to do this partly because we have our own facility; the good old Rotary Hall. We were able to run recruit training and versions of other activities such as; fitness testing, the Ganaraska forest field training exercise, boot shining, and marksmanship practice in-person. And while our ability to conduct in-person training is at the mercy of COVID-19 infection and vaccination rates in Durham Region, we remain optimistic that we’ll be able to deliver the same high-calibre training – both virtual and in-person – that you’ve come to expect from Chadburn Squadron.
Thank you for your dedication and generosity that has helped provide our cadets with the opportunities and training they received this past year. We couldn’t have done it without your support.
Sincerely,
Major Ron Brosseau
Commanding Officer |
