Parents and Cadets of 151 Chadburn Sqn

I’m sending this email to inform you of what the Cadet Organization is planning for early, and mid-2021.
Early 2021
Central Region (CR) is set to offer two sessions of the Cadet Correspondent Workshop (CCW), in conjunction with Eastern Region (ER). This is an opportunity that will attract cadets interested in telling the stories of cadets – and cadet activities in their communities – through researching, writing, and capturing imagery (photos/video) to share the fun, benefits, and challenges of the program with other cadets, families and friends, and Canadians across the region and beyond.
CCW dates are as follows – (5 consecutive Saturdays)
Session #1 – 23,30 January and 6,13,20 February 2021
Session #2 – 13,20,27 March and 3,10, April 2021
Please expect a call from your Team Commander within the next couple of days, asking if you will be interested in enrolling for the  Cadet Correspondent Workshop. A simple yes or no is all that is required from you at this time.
Spring Break  March 15-19 2021 (5 days)
The  Cadet Organization is planning a 5 day in-person Cadet Activity Program (CAP) to coincide with our Spring Break.
CAP consists of activities during the day without an overnight component, which will be conducted within local area COVID-19 guidelines. Participating cadets will be dropped off and picked up by parents at locations that will be within a one-hour drive. As of now the location will be the Oshawa Armouries but may change closer to the date. CAP will consist of activities that are fun, engaging, and challenging for cadets while developing new friendships with cadets from other Corps/Sqns in our area.
This CAP is designed and focused on level one and level two, however, other levels will be asked to join if there is room available as the date gets closer.
Those senior cadets who have expressed an interest in employment opportunities for this CAP will be contacted with more information in Jan 21
Please expect a call from your Team Commander within the next couple of days, asking if you will be interested in enrolling for the Cadet Activity Program. A simple yes or no is all that is required from you at this time. SAVE THE DATE OF MARCH 15-19, 2021
Please keep in mind that Durham Region must move from Red to Yellow (with restrictions) or Green COVID colour code for this CAP to proceed.
Summer 2021

The Cadet Organization is planning for several Cadet Activity Programs within our region for the summer of 2021, similar to the March 2021 CAP .
The Cadet Organization is also planning a selected number of Training Courses throughout the summer, for example; Power Pilot Training Course (PPTC), Glider Pilot Training Course (GPTC), and Advanced Aviation Course, just to name a few.
More information on Summer 2021 Cadet Activities to follow.
On behalf of myself and all the staff of 151 Chadburn Sqn, I would like to take this opportunity to wish you all a Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays, and a wonderful 2021.
Stay safe, stay healthy
