 Joining Procedure

Requirements

  • Between 12-18 years of age at time of joining
  • A Canadian Citizen or have Permanent Resident Status
  • Be in good physical health
  • Be of good moral character

 

Parent/Cadet Information Night

Attend one of the three (3) recruit courses throughout the training year (September to May). The night is held to provide a general overview of the cadet program, give parents/cadets a chance to look at a cadet squadron in action and ask questions of our experienced staff.

Recruit courses are held on the First Week of September, December and March within the training year :

The recruit information night is held at our Squadron Headquarters, Rotary Hall, 254 Centre Street South, Oshawa.

Application For Membership

Once you have decided to Join one of Canada’s oldest and best cadet squadron’s, the following documents must be completed and returned to the recruit officer/staff. These documents will be provided after the every information night, where the recruit staff will help you with any questions. You must complete this package to participate in any cadet activities.

 

The Package Contains :

Identification Required

Please present originals AND submit photocopies of proof of Canadian Citizenship or Permanent Resident Status, plus eligibility for provincial health insurance or equivalent when submitting application.

 

Acceptable Identification documents include:

  • Canadian Passport or
  • Canadian Birth Certificate or
  • Canadian Landed Immigrant Document or
  • Canadian Citizenship Certificate

 

Plus the following Document

  • Ontario Heath Card
